All work and no play...

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the ATOP training program in Houston, TX. This program, created by Wayne Phillips and Continental Airlines introduces pilots (any rating) and wanna-be pilots to the training experience normally reserved for airline pilots and well heeled students. The 737/300-800 training is completed at Continentals Houston based pilot training facility. Continental has created a professional, big as life environment for taking your life-long dream to the next level.

Your instructor "Uncle" Wayne is probably best known for his career columns in the AOPA magazine. Wayne has been training pilots in the 737 program since the mid 1990's. His enthusiasm and entertaining personality makes the 2-day class pass by in a hurry.

If you have ever desired the experience of flying the big airliner, but never really had the chance, here is your opportunity. The full motion simulator is so life like, you'll be somewhat disappointed on your return home to Microsoft Simulator. :(

Wayne can be contacted at
Atop737@aol.com for more information.

The below link provides a few pictures of our training and education at ATOP.
